Creating and Preserving Homeownership
Building community for more than 20 years, Muskogee Habitat for Humanity offers programs for people in need of affordable homeownership opportunities and for current homeowners seeking to preserve their home.
The process of applying for a Habitat home begins with attending an orientation to learn whether you are eligible for the program. Serving the City of Muskogee we build and renovate affordable homes for sale to low-income families with Habitat’s zero percent mortgage. Habitat works with selected homebuyers, volunteers and staff to build quality homes and to prepare homebuyers for successful homeownership.
Serving the City of Muskogee, Muskogee Habitat’s A Brush with Kindness program helps preserve homeownership by assisting low-income homeowners repairs. The program restores homeowner dignity, security and independence addressing deferred maintenance and restoring quality living standards. Homeowners can protect their financial investment and restore a sense of pride.
